Hi, I’m Lindsay. I’m the Head of Research at Xplor, Boutique Wellness.

Hello! I’m Lindsay. Currently, I am the Head of Research for the boutique brands within the Health & Wellbeing vertical of Xplor Technologies. After being the founding UX Researcher at Mariana Tek in 2018, I have continued to support and grow the research practice through democratizing research across the product and design departments. As a long-time team of one, I believe that expanding research through product and design partners both creates more research being done as well as further investment and understanding that user research builds better products – there is no user-first technology without user-focused people.

I am now focused on growing the research team, implementing best practices across 8+ brands, sharing her teams' work globally, and supporting researchers (and beyond) in developing deep empathy and understanding for the clients and customers we serve.

Prior to entering the UX research world, I worked as a full-stack developer, UX engineer, and design liaison for non-profit and government clients in the consulting space. I bring my expertise in technology together with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering to advocate for users while understanding the constraints that the teams I support face.

I am passionate about creating technology that improves one's health – whether that be through fitness software or healthcare technology.
